Freddie Fu, MD, a 1975 graduate of Dartmouth's Geisel School of Medicine, talks to medical students, residents and fellows about the importance of "worrying about the patient." To be a doctor means having passion for the patient, Fu tells them.

Fu, chair of orthopaedics at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, is renowned both for his pioneering knee surgical innovations and his work to keep athletes healthy and performing, from ballerinas to cyclists to NFL receivers.
