The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth provides global health education opportunities to work with diverse patient populations in locations ranging from Peru, Rwanda, Tanzania and more, as well as in underserved rural and urban communities in the U.S. In this video, first-year medical student Andrew Huang describes how the global health experiences at Geisel were important to his decision to come to Dartmouth.

On his road to Geisel, Andrew participated in a medical mission experience in the Dominican Republic. He is from Walnut Creek, California, and is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley where he majored in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Philosophy.
